Jo and Jo have successfully created unisex masks that are secure when worn, breathable and with eye-catching fabrics which complement any outfit and occasion.
Identifying a gap in the market, Jo and Jo came up with a unique mask design that is not only fashionable, fun and comfortable enough to wear all day long but that actually fits to your face – so the mask stays in place no matter your face shape.
Even better, due to the fitted design around the nose, the masks can be worn with glasses or sunglasses without the constant dread of steaming up.
Having met just two years ago, Jo and Jo quickly realised that not only do they share the same nickname, but they are both owners of the same rare breed of dog, both having Schnoodles – Indie and Matilda.
As a former owner of a successful recruitment company, Priory Personnel, Joanne Reeves got to talking to former Programme and Project Manager Joanna Spilman about how they could make a difference during the global pandemic, and as Joanna had just finished a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and Joanne was eager to put her entrepreneurial flair into a new business, masks seemed like the logicial choice, particularly when neither were able to source exactly the kind of mask they have now created.
And so Essex-based business Jo Jo Creative Designs was launched, providing reusable and washable fabric face masks for both kids and adults made from high-quality, comfortable, breathable fabrics such as cotton, chiffon and scuba. Comfortable enough to sport all day long, never again will you dread wearing your mask to the shops or clashing with your outfit!
